Once the eternal wait is entirely consumed,
allowed I am to enter the dark cell, where your innocent figure is roomed,
suffering the consequences of a spell.
In the two hours we are mercifully given,
I wipe your falling tears in my shoulder,
cursing the guilty who is unforgiven,
firmly believing injustice will smolder.
For I feel exiled from the daily regard,
from those arms that enclose my neck,
from that smile you placidly bombard,
from the touch of your hand upon my head.
What an unjust prisoner you are!
no crime has darkened your life!
one day the world will realize,
outside this prison you deserve to abide.
Time is over and next weekend awaits,
to be delighted with your intervention,
wishing to see you more often like other inmates,
in spite of the warden and her evil intention.
from those arms that enclose my neck,
from that smile you placidly bombard,
from the touch of your hand upon my head.
What an unjust prisoner you are!
no crime has darkened your life!
one day the world will realize,
outside this prison you deserve to abide.
Time is over and next weekend awaits,
to be delighted with your intervention,
wishing to see you more often like other inmates,
in spite of the warden and her evil intention.
