What shall I give you, dad?

– What shall I give you, dad? A pair of onyxes, perhaps?
– Those I would not desire, for I find them in your eyes.

– How about an umbrella, would you like it gray?
– None. Being under your eyebrows protects me from the rain.

– An expensive perfume?
– I would rather choose your scent while being in the playroom.

– A cruise to a famous isle?
– I often row on the boat of your smile.

– A paid massage to the tune of Brahms?
– Useless would it be, son, given the magical touch of your palms.

– A book to curl up with in May?
– Why, I read the pages of your life every day!

– A car covered in gold?
– I have my rejoicing legs that chase you down the hall.

– Lots of stylish clothes?
– Your presence dresses me from head to toe.

– A watch with a modern design!
– Time becomes a nuisance when I am by your side.

– Then, clueless I am...What is it that you want?
– No material object can determine the value of your existence. You are my present: magnificent, sublime!
