On Friday afternoons, Emmanuel goes for walk in the shopping center. His dad takes him there. Emmanuelito then visits his father’s relatives. Outside the house, he dances with his shadow under the burning sun. The street is full of cars and motorcycles. A 1969 olive green Symca catches his attention. It approaches him fast. An old and filthy man gets down from the car. Emmanuelito’s eyes widen in surprise. The man’s lips draw a bright smile. Emmanuel starts moving his head from side to side. He stomps his feet rhythmically at the sight of the dirty man. He does squats. He hides and appears again. He is completely excited. The filthy sir seems to be happy too. He loves Emmanuelito. He imitates what Emmanuel does. They have a wonderful time together. People walking down the street look worried. They believe the dirty fellow may hurt or kidnap the little boy.
